Within the Data Governance & Remediation Team (DG&R), this role’s function is to support the design and implementation of complex yet efficient solutions for inaccurate provider directory data. This position is responsible for various activities related to provider directory data accuracy and regulatory requirements which includes but is not limited to simultaneously coordinating remediation activities for multiple data files, performing quality assurance on completed updates, and tracking results. Additionally, this position will serve as a provider data subject matter expert and may communicate regularly with other departments regarding directory accuracy activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate remediation of provider data inaccuracies, leveraging automation where possible

Managing multiple data files each day, each potentially at different stages of the remediation process

Complete quality assurance on completed updates to ensure accuracy

Partner with operations teams as need to successfully coordinate remediation efforts

Participate in projects involving provider data accuracy and remediation efficiency opportunities

Research provider data inquiries and escalations as needed

Serve as subject matter expert of loading procedures

Represent the team on projects associated with provider data cleanse activities

Perform data analysis utilizing Microsoft Excel and Access Databases

Identify trends in provider data inaccuracies and provide recommendations on solutions

Manage large sets of provider data, adhering to data usage restrictions and minimal necessary guidelines

Identify and research errors in provider data, sharing feedback that may result in the development of rules, programs, or improvement activities

Collaborate with business partners to root cause data defect issues and identify resolutions as needed

Maintain current knowledge of data loading procedures to make informed decisions related to remediation processes

Complete reporting to track results and monitor directory data cleanse activities

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of NDB provider data loading experience within the previous 4 years

6+ months experience analyzing provider data

Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills to include V-lookups and/or X-lookups

Presently employed within UHC Provider Data Operations (PDO)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience submitting demographic updates into Phycon

Demonstrated knowledge of CSP, NICE, Cirrus

Experience working in Titan2/BAPA

Experience participating in provider data projects

Solid analytical, critical reasoning and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrable ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and effectively under time constraints

The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
