Company Description
The SailPoint ISC Engineer will be involved in the full systems development life cycle and is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting SailPoint ISC software. Analyzes complex business requirements and problems and drives research to design quality technical solutions. Serves as the primary point of contact on complex or escalated SailPoint issues and may provide direction and guidance to other team members.
What Will You Be Doing?
In conjunction with a SailPoint implementation partner, Identity engineers, and identity architects, designing, deploying, and tuning the SailPoint platform.
Optimizing the SailPoint platform and processes to improve the user experience for associates, vendors, contractors, and other staff. Creates a resilient SailPoint architecture that supports both cloud-based and on-premise authentication processes.
Building integrations between SailPoint and various technologies (e.g., Entra, Peoplesoft, ServiceNow, Active Directory)
Troubleshooting SailPoint issues and incidents independently and with support teams, working collaboratively to quickly identify root cause and resolve the issue
Recommending new SailPoint processes and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems, and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with new technologies.
Documenting existing and new SailPoint configurations and processes. Assists in writing/reviewing system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts, and advises on project plans, including scope, effort, and schedule.
Partnering with Identity engineers and architecture teams to build a future roadmap for SailPoint
Mentoring and developing junior team members on SailPoint configurations, operations, and leading practices
Performing and supporting SailPoint patching and upgrades
Providing on-call and after-hours support for critical incidents involving SailPoint systems
What Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science/engineering or related field, or combination of relevants skills/experience and education
5+ years of experience with SailPoint and 3+ with SailPoint ISC
5+ years of experience with identity protocols (e.g., LDAP, SSO/SAML, OAuth2.0/OIDC, WebAuthN)
Knowledge and understanding of identity management principles and user lifecycle management best practices, including: privileged access, access governance, contextual access, and awareness of next generation authentication standards/protocols.
Experience managing enterprise directory services and collaborating with application/system owners to build solutions leveraging said directory services.
Critical thinking with the ability to work independently to develop completely new problem-solving approaches and formulate innovative solutions
Ability to work as a member of a highly-capable team of identity and security technicians
Proven interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

Therefore, in states and cities that require the hourly or salary compensation or pay range to be included in a job posting, the recruiting pay range for this position is $118,000 – $139,000. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your years of experience, your work location, comparison to other employees in similar or related roles, or market demands. The range may be modified in the future.
