We’re looking for an experienced Senior System Support Engineer who will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing ICT infrastructure and automation systems at remote sites and stations. This is an opportunity to lead, coordinate, and improve ICT operations for vital services.
Your Mission:
Maintain cables, cabinets, and critical infrastructure in remote computer rooms.
Operate, monitor, and respond to irregularities in facility systems — keeping everything running smoothly.
Act as the technical bridge between hardware operations teams and other departments.
Support and optimize automation hardware and software operations.
Lead the deployment of infrastructure support for new sites, including cabinet upgrades and cable management.
Develop clear processes and policies to enhance operational efficiency.
Provide technical input in design reviews and audit preparations.
Ensure documentation control and audit compliance for infrastructure systems.
Communicate effectively in English with internal teams and external contractors.
Support the planning and expansion of computer rooms with engineering expertise.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
10–12 years of proven experience in building, maintaining, and expanding computer rooms or data centers.
Strong understanding of ICT standards and technical documentation practices.
Valid driving license in Qatar.
Certifications like CCNA or CompTIA Network+ (preferred).
Bonus: Certifications in fuel dispensers, ATG, and site controllers from Gilbarco or Wayne are a great advantage!
