About the role:
We are seeking a versatile SEO/Link Building Specialist with expertise in both link-building and on-page SEO optimization. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies that enhance our website’s authority, visibility, and rankings on search engines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the nuances between link building and backlinking, as well as a strong foundation in on-page SEO techniques to drive organic traffic and improve overall site performance.
This is an Hourly Remote Role, with the potential for full-time in the future.
Responsibilities:
Link Building & Backlinking:

Identify and acquire high-quality backlinks from reputable and relevant websites through research, outreach, and negotiation.

Analyze and optimize existing backlink profiles, assessing strengths and weaknesses, identifying broken links, and evaluating backlink quality.

Develop and implement comprehensive link-building strategies, utilizing tactics such as guest blogging, directory submissions, and partnerships.

Monitor and report on the effectiveness of backlinks, tracking their impact on search rankings and website traffic.

On-Page SEO Optimization:

Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for optimizing existing content and creating new content that aligns with SEO goals.

Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and internal linking structures, to enhance search engine visibility.

Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure that SEO best practices are integrated into web pages and content from the outset.

Regularly audit the website for technical SEO issues, ensuring the site remains optimized for both users and search engines.

Strategic Integration:

Work closely with the COO to align the link-building and on-page SEO strategies with overarching SEO and marketing goals, ensuring a cohesive approach.

Stay informed about the latest trends and algorithm updates in the SEO landscape to ensure strategies are effective and compliant with evolving best practices.

Requirements

Proven track record as an SEO Specialist with experience in both link-building and on-page SEO optimization, demonstrating successful improvements in organic search rankings.

Expertise in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms for comprehensive link analysis, keyword research, and on-page optimization.

Strong communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with website owners and stakeholders for link acquisition.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to make informed decisions for both link-building and on-page strategies.

Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in both link-building and on-page SEO.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
