Job Description:
Open for Omani Fresh graduates with a Degree Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.

Job Summary
Complete MDTotco system installations, investigate product problems and maintain the systems functioning as per MDTotco standard in order to achieve customer satisfaction. This will be a rotational position in Rigs onshore (2 weeks On / 2 weeks Off) The engineer will need to drive the company vehicle to different customer location on call basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage projects, which includes upgrading and/or installing products as well as repair and maintain rental systems installed on rig sites.
Investigate reported product problems and initiate corrective action following through on the corrective action required; corrective action can be remote troubleshooting or performing rig visit.
Conduct operational analysis, make improvement recommendations and conduct retrofit management to assist in the development of products and projects.
Provide information and support all customers with equipment problems on rig sites.
Should be willing to drive company vehicle to customer locations and perform work.
Perform another work-related task as required and assigned.
Provide activity report on a daily basis.
Clean, test and repair parts/systems available in stores were assigned to.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies, and all the customers policy as well.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Basic Networking / ability to read basic electrical connections diagram /Instrumentation background.
Completed classes in basic electricity and electronics and be intensely aware of proper safety practices and procedures when dealing with and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
Must be self-motivating individual

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
English proficiency
Diploma’s Degree in related field (Electrical/Mechanical engineering)
0- 5 years of relevant experience
Candidate must be familiar with electrical measurement equipment and wiring
Experience and capability in Troubleshooting
Desirable
Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 3 years’ experience.
Previous Oil & Gas experience in Oman
Knowledge of local Compliance requirements, laws, and HSE rules.
