As the brand continues to scale, they are seeking a Shopify Operations Specialist to own and optimize their Shopify backend, ensuring smooth product launches, efficient content management, data-driven decision-making, and overall e-commerce operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Content Management
Upload and configure new products in Shopify (variants, descriptions, images, tags).
Ensure product collections, navigation, and search functions are accurate and user-friendly.
Regularly update content (copy, banners, pricing, seasonal adjustments).
Maintain accurate inventory and SKUs across all product lines.
Sales & Pricing Operations
Set up promotions, discount codes, and flash sales within Shopify.
Manage cross-sell/upsell logic and merchandising rules.
Monitor product lifecycle from launch to markdown.
Analytics & Reporting
Use Shopify analytics to track sales performance, conversion rates, inventory turnover, and other KPIs.
Generate weekly/monthly reports for internal stakeholders.
Recommend actions based on data insights (e.g., restock, promo adjustments).
Cross-Functional Support
Work closely with marketing, creative, and customer experience teams to ensure campaigns and updates go live accurately and on time.
Support A/B testing initiatives and monitor results in Shopify.
Help coordinate product readiness for email, SMS, and ad campaigns.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience: 2+ years managing Shopify (Shopify Plus experience is a bonus) for a consumer e-commerce brand.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of the Shopify admin panel, common apps (like ReCharge, Klaviyo integration, PageFly, etc.). Basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Comfortable pulling insights from Shopify reports, Google Analytics, and/or Looker.
Detail-Oriented: High attention to accuracy in product setup, pricing, and reporting.
Communication: A clear, responsive, and proactive communicator comfortable working in a remote team environment.
