The Role
You will be responsible for project leadership as well as individual contribution
You will design and implement systems primarily using Rust, while also utilizing principles of functional programming and microservices architecture
You will lead and develop projects integrating with APIs for credit card integrations and other financial products
You will gather requirements, design, test, implement and operate services
Your Skills
You have strong backend development experience in languages such as C/C++, Java, Rust, Scala, Golang or Python
You have proven track record in designing software from the ground up as well as modifying existing applications
You have been in a similar senior software engineering role
You have knowledge of systems development, operations, and CI/CD practices (docker, Resids. SQL DBs, etc)
You have business-level proficiency in English
Welcome experience
Japanese proficient is not a requirement, but a big plus
Developing experience in Rust and Scala will be highly beneficial
Experience in the Fintech domain
Team management and project management experience
