Standalone IT Manager (Hybrid Remote work OK!)
Our client are a leading global FMCG company. They are recruiting an experienced IT Manager for Japan.
You’ll manage a range of IT functions & operations including application support, and ERP implementation. The successful candidate will report directly to the regional IT head.
Our client offers a hybrid remote working environment.
Responsibilities:
– Manage Japan IT functions.
– Plan and manage IT projects (incl. budget management).
– Collaborate with global team on major projects.
– Manage application support activities.
– Troubleshoot and resolve application issues quickly.
– Oversee ERP system deployment and maintenance.
– Manage local IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and hardware.
– Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades.
– Provide basic local helpdesk support.
– Escalate issues to Global IT as needed.
Qualifications:
– 6+ years of IT management experience
– Experience in application support and ERP implementation.
– Understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, hardware).
– Must be fluent in Japanese.
– Experience in a multinational company (preferred).
– Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) preferred.
