THE WORK
As a Subcontract Manager, you will oversee the full procurement lifecycle for several AEW programs. Your responsibilities will include managing major subcontracts’ cost, schedule, and technical performance, ensuring that all aspects align with program objectives. You’ll provide critical proposal support, including developing Subcontract labor Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and TINA supplier documentation. Your role will also involve source selection and evaluation, developing work recovery plans to ensure on-time deliveries, and leading negotiations on pricing, terms, and lead times. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration, coordinating with supply chain stakeholders to maintain timely and accurate purchase order statuses and closeouts. Independent work is essential, though you will keep key stakeholders informed and escalate issues when necessary.

You are a skilled Subcontract Manager with a deep understanding of procurement processes and a proven track record in managing subcontracts for complex programs. You have experience in developing BOEs, evaluating sources, and leading negotiations. Basic Qualifications
-Understanding of supply chain principles and the procurement process on a DoD contract
-Experience placing and managing purchase orders
-Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
-Able to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
Desired skills
-Able to travel (1-2 times per year for on-site supplier meetings)
-Effectively communicate with all stakeholders (leadership, peers, suppliers) in a remote environment
-Well organized and able to prioritize competing requirements
– Previous LM supply chain experience

Ability to work remotely
Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
