With a commitment to excellence and innovation, and as they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Job Description
Develop and maintain supplier scorecards to monitor performance and compliance with quality standards.
Conduct assessments and audits of potential suppliers to evaluate their capabilities and quality management systems.
Establish quality control processes and procedures for incoming materials and components.
Provide guidance and support to suppliers in implementing quality improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Analyze supplier quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of supplier quality activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum of five years of experience in quality engineering, supplier quality management, or related roles, preferably in the metal manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, metallurgy, and quality control principles.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
