Our IT support team is responsible for making Akamai IT the best customer of Akamai. We work with Premium Support team and business units to be thecCustomer for all Akamai products and services. We are transforming IT at Akamai and turning the enterprise inside out!
Partner with the best
You are responsible for handling day to day support operations for AOA (Akamai on Akamai). You will also work with technical teams and different business functions to understand the IT requirements. You will also ensure delivery of them is in the most effective and efficient way.
As a Systems Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Monitoring alerts proactively and provide infrastructure/application support to prevent incidents.
Recording, prioritising, and resolving incidents while managing the full lifecycle of service requests.
Communicating incident status, changes, and planned outages to users.
Ensuring high-quality process execution, meeting SLAs/OLAs, and manage transitions from Engineering to Operations.
Collaborating with engineering teams, perform configurations, maintenance, and maintain support documentation.
Providing 24/5 rotational shift support, including on-call weekends, and represent changes in the CAB
