Overview:
Responsible for managing the daily operations of a group within the MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure Talent Acquisition (TA) Team to drive business results with a focus on compliance, quality, and positive candidate experience. Provide guidance and process development on full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and development of talent acquisition strategies. They will build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and partner with HR colleagues to support organizational growth and talent needs. They will focus on maintaining a successful talent acquisition team that consistently sources and delivers a pipeline of top-quality talent.
This position will be one of three Talent Acquisition Managers supporting the MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure segment. This is a remote position, which can be based anywhere in the United States, and up to 15% travel is required to help support hiring initatitives and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Support the evolution of the talent acquisition team into a function consistently viewed as a strategic, consultative, and proactive partner with the business.
Partner with TA leadership and business leaders to strategize and drive recruiting-related initiatives to support talent pipeline expansion and diversity hiring efforts.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, bringing innovative ideas to the organization.
Fully utilize applicant tracking system for effective recruiting, affirmative action compliance, and reporting.
Own and lead sourcing strategies that increase the volume of potential qualified candidates and develop a pipeline of talent for active and passive needs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase projectivity and streamline processes, which will help make hiring more effective, efficient, and positive for hiring managers and candidates.
Mentor and lead a team of high-performing recruiters in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
Responsible for day-to-day activities and monitoring of recruiters’ daily operations, activities, and workloads – ensuring accuracy, developing standards, auditing, providing guidance, and establishing processes.
Manage productivity and efficiency of individual Talent Specialists, using data and metrics to identify performance issues and opportunities for coaching.
Coach and train Talent Specialists to increase sourcing and proactive recruiting capabilities.
Create and promote an environment where team members are empowered, engaged, and committed to the success of the company, delivering high-quality service.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, feedback, and professional growth.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand their hiring needs and align on delivery goals.
Influence and educate internal stakeholders on best practices, such as compelling job descriptions, candidate outreach, employer value propositions, and excellent interview and onboarding experiences, to drive positive candidate experiences.
Provide talent acquisition solutions and market insight to meet business objectives and drive critical results.
Provide regular updates to TA leadership and business leaders on progress against hiring targets and other key talent acquisition initiatives.
Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Partner with the Talent Acquisition Director on external staffing agency relationships, ensuring internal resource utilization and budget awareness across the business.
Support the TA Department’s strategies and special projects related to talent programs, including internships, early career, diversity, etc.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or combination of experience and education is required.
5- 7 years recruiting experience required, with 3+ years within the construction or energy industry preferred
Experience leading in a matrixed or complex organization with multiple brands desired
Supervisory experience required
Experience with iCIMS preferred
Experience recruiting talent in competitive markets
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes, with experience pipelining for future roles
Exceptional prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
Strong understanding of the latest recruitment trends, including the use of Social Media tools for recruitment
Ability to analyze reports, metrics, and dashboards to make business decisions
Ability to lead teams through significant change management initiatives
Strong attention to detail while operating with a high sense of urgency
Strong sourcing, interviewing, and negotiation skills
Advanced verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to negotiate, influence, and present ideas and content contributing to HR priorities and corporate strategy.
Ability to be seen as a trusted partner and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking system, and other online tools.

Ability to travel as needed, up to 15%.
