Requirements:
6+ years of professional full-stack development experience
Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and Node.js
Experience building scalable backend systems and distributed architectures
Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Mobile app experience with Ionic/Cordova or native frameworks
Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience
Frontend: Angular (v17+), Ionic/Cordova, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript
Backend: Node.js, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Golang (a plus)
Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, EC2, IAM, S3), Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux
Messaging & Architecture: RabbitMQ, distributed systems
DevOps & Monitoring: CI/CD pipelines, OpenSearch
AI/ML (Bonus): OpenAI APIs, LangChain, vector databases, prompt engineering, RAG
Responsibilities:
Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack applications (web, backend, mobile)
Lead a small engineering team with mentoring, code reviews, and technical guidance 2
Collaborate with product managers and founders on feature planning and architecture
Drive high standards in code quality, testing, and CI/CD
Oversee cloud infrastructure and ensure production reliability and performance
Translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly solutions
Assist in hiring, onboarding, and team growth
Continuously improve processes, codebases, and engineering culture
Contribute to incident response and production support as needed
