Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive, highly organized, and bilingual Team Supervisor, currently consisting of 8 employees and projected to grow to around 30. This role is essential in supporting day-to-day operations, overseeing multiple departments, and serving as the primary point of contact between the Honduras team and our Miami headquarters. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, solutions-oriented, and capable of fostering team alignment and performance in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Industry Knowledge

Travel to Miami, FL for initial onboarding and comprehensive training

Learn and understand the company’s industry, internal systems, and workflows

Cross-train in all company departments (phased approach – one department at a time)

Team Leadership & Oversight

Supervise and support the entire Team across all departments

Conduct regular meetings to address questions, concerns, and reinforce policies

Ensure consistency in processes, adherence to standard operating procedures, and team alignment

Serve as the company’s eyes and ears on the ground in Honduras

Recruitment & Staff Management

Lead interviews and make final decisions on candidate selection

Train new employees to ensure standardized onboarding and process adoption

Monitor performance, attendance, and punctuality, and report any absences or issues to Miami-based HR and management

Temporarily cover responsibilities when a team member leaves or is unavailable, ensuring operational continuity

Administrative & Communication Duties

Prepare for and coordinate logistics related to management meetings in Honduras (e.g., booking hotels, making reservations)

Maintain ongoing communication with U.S. leadership regarding team performance, issues, and updates

Submit regular reports on team metrics, progress, and any operational challenges

And any other tasks assigned as needed to support the smooth functioning of the team and business operations.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Proven experience overseeing cross-functional teams

Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills

Fluent in both Spanish and English (verbal and written)

Comfortable with training, performance evaluation, and staff development

Willingness and ability to travel to the U.S. for training and occasional meetings

Preferred Skills:

Background in transportation, logistics, or operations

Experience working with U.S.-based clients or managing international teams

Familiarity with scheduling, workforce management, or CRM tools
