The Role
What You’ll Be Doing:
Invoice Management: You’ll manage and process invoices for multiple property sites, ensuring each one is uploaded accurately to Rent Manager.
Expense Allocation: Review every invoice, ensuring expenses are allocated correctly to the appropriate general ledger accounts based on vendor services provided.
Bank Reconciliation: On a monthly basis, you’ll reconcile bank accounts for each site, verifying all transactions for accuracy and promptly resolving discrepancies.
Collaborative Communication: Work closely with on-site staff, the back office, and other team members to gather necessary details and confirm important financial information.
Vendor and Team Liaison: Maintain open, professional communication with both vendors and internal teams to resolve any questions or issues that arise.
Ideal Profile
Who We’re Looking For:
Property Management Experience: You’ve previously worked in a property management environment and understand the financial demands of managing multiple sites.
Remote Work Expertise: You’re comfortable working remotely for U.S.-based companies and can manage your workload effectively in a virtual setting.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with property management software like Rent Manager, CRM systems, or QuickBooks is highly preferred. You’re quick to learn new software and thrive in a tech-driven role.
Bookkeeping Skills: You have a proven background in bookkeeping or accounts payable, especially in a property management context. Your financial expertise helps keep our records clean and accurate.
Analytical Thinker: You have strong analytical skills and are adept at spotting discrepancies or unusual transactions that need to be addressed.
Effective Communicator: Your English communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent. You’re able to interact professionally with vendors and team members, resolving issues efficiently.
Financially Knowledgeable: You understand the nuances of property management expenses and how to properly allocate costs.
