Job Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for HVDC Software & Hardware Integrated testing and perform FPT (Functional Performance Test) & DPT (Dynamic Performance Test)
Should be able read, understand and follow given test definitions & test descriptions
Execute test cases related to Grid/Station/Pole level control functions as per test descriptions for HVDC converter substation
Should be able understand the HMI, RTDS, basics of Power system, Power Electronics component and its equipment’s
Evaluate Test results against Test Acceptance Criteria
Analyse SER and TFR Records
Analyse test results screenshots, plots, reports and support documents
Prepare and submit Test reports in required format.
Work Experience
Qualification, Skills & Experience:
B.E or BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 3+ years of experience in Design, Testing and Commissioning HVDC Transmission substation,
ME or MTech in Powers system or Power electronics followed with B.E or BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 2+ years of experience.
Good knowledge in Power system protection, Electrical equipment hardware and software engineering and testing.
Good knowledge and exposure in HVDC control and protection systems.
Should be able to interact with multiple internal, external stake holders and show FAT demo to customers.
Basic understanding in SIPROTEC product family, HMI tools, RTDS, IEC 61850 would be an added advantage.
Good communications skill and fluent in English.
