KOS is seeking an experienced Vice President of Marketing to lead and oversee all brand and marketing strategies, initiatives, and campaigns across wholesale and DTC. The VP of Marketing will report directly to the President & COO and will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and affinity, engagement, and revenue growth. The VP of Marketing will be a key strategic partner to our Director of Product innovation.

Job Description

Develop and execute a comprehensive brand and marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives;

Oversee the development and execution of all marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, email marketing, social media, content marketing, shopper marketing, consumer research, partnerships and events;

Build and manage a high-performing marketing team (5 direct reports), including training and performance management;

Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure that all initiatives are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment;

Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and develop marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and customer acquisition;

Partner with the Director of Innovation to build innovation strategy and product roadmap.

Lead team to ensure that product launches are supported by effective marketing campaigns that drive adoption and sales;

Own the full consumer experience including customer care;

Collaborate with sales, and other departments to ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with the overall company strategy and goals;

Lead trade (shopper) marketing efforts to ensure success in wholesale channel.

Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry influencers, media outlets, and strategic partners;

Track and report on the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (required); MBA (preferred);

10+ years experience in CPG marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role;

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive revenue growth and customer acquisition;

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve ambitious goals;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

Deep understanding of marketing analytics and ability to use data and make informed decisions;

Deep understanding of branding and the power of brand positioning to make for a winning proposition;

Deep understanding on CPG foundations for an omni channel brand – positioning, packaging, trade marketing, P&L management, and more;

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously;

Passion for health and wellness, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices;

Preferred related experience in health & wellness, nutrition or natural foods.

Additional Information

Salary: $160,000 – $180,000

15% annual bonus based on targets
