We are currently seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team on a freelance basis. This is a remote position ideal for someone with experience in storytelling, creativity, and attention to detail.
Job Description:
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying creative editing techniques, and finalizing videos that align with our brand’s tone and visual style. You’ll collaborate closely with our creative team to ensure the final product meets our high standards of quality and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit video content for documentaries, promotional videos, and social media posts.
Collaborate with the director and creative team to ensure edits align with project vision.
Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance video storytelling.
Perform color grading, sound editing, and correction as needed.
Follow brand guidelines for consistent visual representation.
Ensure timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve (preferably), Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
Ability to work with various formats (4K, not 1080p).
Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience with sound design and color correction is a plus.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Bonus Skills:
Motion graphics and animation experience.
Experience editing content for social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
