We are looking for a intuitive, trustworthy CFO Assistant to support the CFO, by helping to streamline operations and handle critical day-to-day administrative and financial support tasks. The ideal candidate will be someone the CFO can count on to get things right the first time and take initiative with minimal supervision.
PLEASE NOTE:
Working Hours: This role requires you to work EST hours, Monday – Friday from 09:00am to 18:00pm EST (15:00PM to 24:00AM SAST, subject to change depending on daylight savings)
Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
Work Environment: This is a remote role for South African Citizens only.
Key Responsibilities:
Upload and manage invoices
Support with QuickBooks entries and reconciliations
Assist with data entry and financial documentation
Monitor and respond to funding-related emails
Conduct research as assigned by the CFO
Work extensively with Excel and other spreadsheets
Perform general executive assistant tasks as needed
Requirements
Finance or Accounting background
Familiarity with QuickBooks
Prior experience as an Executive Assistant
Comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proactive and self-motivated attitude
