We’re seeking an experienced Wix Developer to migrate an existing static HTML website onto the Wix platform. You’ll be responsible for faithfully recreating the site’s design and functionality, ensuring optimal performance, mobile responsiveness, and seamless content transfer.
Key Responsibilities
Site Audit & Planning
Review the current HTML site structure, assets, and functionality
Create a migration plan with milestones and deliverables
Wix Template & Design
Select or build a Wix template matching the existing design
Recreate page layouts, styles, fonts, and colors
Content Migration
Transfer all text, images, media, and SEO metadata
Ensure formatting, links, and forms work correctly
Functionality & Integrations
Rebuild any custom features (contact forms, galleries, menus) using Wix tools or Velo
Configure third-party integrations (e.g., analytics, chat widgets, payment gateways)
Testing & QA
Conduct cross-browser and mobile responsiveness testing
Validate page load speed and accessibility standards
Deployment & Handover
Point the domain and perform final launch checks
Provide documentation or a brief walkthrough for site administration
Required Qualifications
Proven Wix Expertise
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience building and customising Wix sites
Familiarity with Wix Editor, Wix ADI, and Velo (formerly Corvid)
