The Compliance Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for supporting all aspects of compliance for our health plans. It will be a whirlwind, but it will also be the place where you can help make the health system work better.
Primary Responsibilities:

Support all LOB in remediating issues of noncompliance identified internally and externally, drive CAP development/submission, mitigate compliance risks and improve audit outcomes

Assist Sr. Compliance Analysts by providing oversight for corrective action plan implementation for state regulatory exams and internal compliance audits

Lead corrective action plan implementation through identification of root cause, tracking remediation activities and validating business implementation of corrective measures

Support reporting of corrective action plans and fines/penalties, including data analytics and the ability to identify trends in data, complete data entry and maintenance in tracking systems

Create strong working relationships with LCRA and business partners

Required Qualifications:

3+ years experience working in a government, legal, health care, managed care and/or health insurance environment in a regulatory, privacy or compliance role

3+ years experience communicating complex information via phone conversations and emails to non-technical clients, internal customers and senior leaders/executives

3+ years experience interacting & collaborating with a variety of stakeholders (other team members, internal customers and executives)

Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint

Business operational experience or the ability to educate yourself on business processes in order to have a high-level understanding of how laws and regulations impact business areas

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with technical systems, data and reporting

Experience analyzing complex issues to understand the root cause and develop corrective actions

Experience communicating with regulatory agencies
